I went to a traditional Japanese public bath with a 2 month old tenant who came to Japan from England.
The day started with a group of mountain climbers trekking up Mt. Hiei near Sakamoto Station in Shiga, strolling at Enryakuji Temple on Mt. Hiei, and then returning to Kyoto City via Unmozaka in Kyoto Shugakuin.
After the trekking, we went straight to Daikokuyu in the Shugakuin area to work up a lot of sweat.
He seemed to know the word "sento", but he was a little surprised at the first time he saw the changing table and changing room.
I took a bath, washed my back, took a hot water bath, and even tried the sauna and drank a beer after the bath.
He was very satisfied with the regular course and wanted to upload his bath on Instagram, but he couldn't.
