This week, I went to the Karasuma ANNEX House for a house meeting and a full house cleaning!
At the house meeting, we discussed recent house matters with everyone.
I learned about some situations I wasn't aware of before, so I want to work together with everyone to solve the issues that came up this time!!
One topic that came up was “consideration” for housemates. Unlike living alone, a share house involves communal living with others, so this “consideration” is crucial for everyone's comfort.
It goes without saying: greet each other when passing in the house, return places you use to their original state, be mindful of noise early mornings and late at night.
However, since everyone defines “consideration” differently, I realized once again how important it is to create an environment like this where everyone can discuss and share their opinions.
It's important for each individual, including residents from other houses, to be mindful so everyone can live comfortably.
Staff like me will work together to solve these issues, helping residents live with that kind of awareness.
