Walking distance to the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu Temple! Living in nature with a sense of history【8NEST Kodaiji】

2020年6月16日
We are proud to introduce 8NEST Kodaiji, one of our share houses in Kyoto,

and the only one in the Higashiyama-ku area.

Surrounded by the Higashiyama mountain range and the Kamo River,

Higashiyama-ku in Kyoto City is a beautiful city

with the smallest population in the city to protect its historical scenery and buildings.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a world heritage site for cherry blossoms and autumnal leaves,

Kodai-ji Temple, famous for its spring and autumn lighting,

Gion, which has developed into a thriving shopping district,

and Yasaka Shrine, where the Gion Festival, one of Japan's three major festivals, is held,

all within walking distance for you to visit!

You can enjoy a stroll through the wonderful scenery and history of the four seasons♪

Not only for sightseeing, but also very convenient because restaurants, cafes,

supermarkets and convenience stores are nearby.

Among the many restaurants, I would like to recommend the "morning" service.

The Roji Usagi is a popular restaurant located just a 3-minute walk from Gion Shijo Station,

where you can enjoy a home-style breakfast set meal from 8 a.m. (7 a.m. in July and August).

Maeda Coffee is a long-established coffee shop in Kyoto,

7-8 minutes on foot from 8NEST Kodaiji, where you can enjoy delicious home-roasted coffee,

a wide variety of mornings and lunches, and even homemade sweets in a calm atmosphere

from 7am all year round.

Although it's a very busy and convenient place to live near tourist attractions and downtown,

the area around 8NEST Kodaiji is a very quiet and relaxing residential area,

so you can live in peace.

There's a large balcony and garden, the interior has a homey atmosphere,

and the five private rooms are spacious.

There is a bathtub in the bath, so you can heal the day's fatigue.

The nearest station is Keihan Line, Gion-Shijo Station,

and the city bus from the nearest bus stop (10 minutes on foot) is recommended

as it stops not only at Kyoto Station but also at major tourist destinations.
